Spring Garden visit:  We plan to organise a coach rtip to Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses on Saturday May 15th, 2010.  The cost will be £20 for adults and £18 for concessions.  For more details click here.

The Annual Village Show will take place on Saturday July 17th.  More details later.

The committee have decided to have a break from organising a Garden Walk for this year.  We would plan to hold the next one in 2011.

The Society

Our society was established many years ago to promote interest in all matters connected with gardening and horticulture generally. It meets from September to May on the first Tuesday of each month. Each season brings a fine range of speakers on a wide selection of topics and in the summer trips and visits are arranged to places of horticultural interest.

The club has a thriving membership of approximately 100. Meetings, Outings, Visits and other activities take place throughout the year. The Society organises the annual Handforth Village Show in July. If you are interested in taking part in this open show please contact a member of the committee. Every two years, a number gardens in the Handforth area are opened to the public for two days.
