Wilmslow Wells for Africa

Tree of our members have their gardens open for Wilmslow Wells on 27th June, 11a.m. to 5p.m. They are Rosslyn and Anthony Heywood, David and Val Gilbert and Liz and Rick Maddock.  Please try and support this event.  Telephone contacts are below for more details from the individuals opening their garden.

The Society

Our society was established many years ago to promote interest in all matters connected with gardening and horticulture generally. It meets from September to May on the first Tuesday of each month. Each season brings a fine range of speakers on a wide selection of topics and in the summer trips and visits are arranged to places of horticultural interest.

The club has a thriving membership of approximately 100. Meetings, Outings, Visits and other activities take place throughout the year. The Society organises the annual Handforth Village Show in July. If you are interested in taking part in this open show please contact a member of the committee. Every two years, a number gardens in the Handforth area are opened to the public for two days.
