The Pat Day Trophy (for highest aggregate points in Flower Arranging, Cooking, Arts & Crafts & Paintings): Sarah Wilkinson & Norma Haigh. The Don Hardisty Prize (Best exhibit in Pot Plants Section): David Gilbert. The Garden News Top Vase: 1st: Stan Hickson; 2nd: Sarah Wilkinson; 3rd: Ruth Pennington HGS Trophy (Highest aggregate points by Society member in Classes 1 - 56): Simon Poucher. The Open Award (Highest aggregate points by any particiant in Classes 1 - 56): Simon Poucher. The Bill & Eileen Smith Trophy (Best individual exhibit in Classes 1 - 56): Simon Poucher (Coloured potatoes). The National Vegetable Society Trophy (Best in classes 34 - 56): Simon Poucher (Coloured potatoes).

The members of Handforth Gardening Society are pleased to have been able to organise this Show which follows on from the success of the last 14 years. We hope that the Village Show has now become a permanent event in the Handforth calendar. Location Honford Hall South Acre Drive Off Wilmslow Rd Handforth Cheshire Times Show opens at 2.00pm Prizes and trophies at 3.00pm Refreshments, Plants and Product Stall etc Prices Admission 50p, Children free. If you'd like to enter an exhibit, you can obtain a schedule and entry form from Messrs. Woods Papershop, 123 Wilmslow Road, Handforth. These will be available in June. |
