The 17th Annual Village Show was held this year on Saturday 4th July at Honford Hall, Handforth. The show-benches were heaving under the weight of exhibits again.
This year in addition to many of the favourite classes there was a new exhibit class for children. We were delighted to see that the local children turned out in force - eighteen entries for the new class! - and showed the more experienced gardeners that there is an up-and-coming generation of growers.
Our thanks goes to everyone who supported and helped in the show organisation and running.
