Handforth Garden Society - Home

Handforth Gardening Society had a very successful visit to the RHS Harlow Carr Garden, Harrogate.

The tour guides gave an excellent introduction to the the garden, its history and the planned developments. 

The rhododendrons lining the path in the Woodland walk were magnificent!

Members were able to observe woodpeckers, amongst other birds, from the bird-hide.  Additionally there was a demonstration of bee-keeping techniques.

Well worth another visit!
