Village shows.
The Handforth Village show, held in July for the last 18 years, is the climax of the annual programme. We have a very healthy number of entries each year, though the produce and plant entries can vary with the fickle British Summer weather. Do you ever hear a gardener say that the weather is just right?
The Handforth Village show is open to both members and non-members of the Society, and is a perfect opportunity for show veterans or novices to display the efforts of their hard work in the garden, kitchen or with crafts.
Judges and exhibitors are always willing to talk about their exhibits and how they prepared them for the display bench.
So why not have a go next year? Just ask any of the committee for details.
